Our delivery times vary from state to state.

3. WHERE DO WE DELIVER?

Australia wide, we also offer door to door delivery as all of our trucks have forklifts to load and unload.

4. WHAT QUANTITIES CAN BE ORDERED?

The minimum order is 1 pack, which may vary in bricks depending on the product, but approximately 380 to 500 bricks per pack.

5. HOW ARE BRICKS DELIVERED?

Bricks are delivered on pallets or strapped depending on the products, bricks are transported by our semi trailer trucks with rear mounted forklifts.

​

6. HOW DO I CALCULATE BRICKS REQUIRED FOR A JOB?

For brick walls you require approximately 52 bricks per square metre (single skin walls) and for paving your require approximately 40 bricks per square metre.

7. WHAT IS THE SIZE OF A STANDARD BRICK?

Standard bricks are 230mm x 110mm x 76mm.

8. HOW MANY BRICKS ON A PALLET?

Depending on the product which varies from 380 to 500 bricks

9. HOW MUCH DOES A PALLET WEIGH?

Depending on the product which varies from 800KG to 2000KG per pack.

10. DO YOU MATCH BRICKS?

Yes we do, take a photo of the brick you would like us to match and email a brief description to bookings@bricks247.com.au.

11. WHAT IS A FACE BRICK?

A face brick is a brick with a side designed to be seen. Most bricks only have one face which is why it is important to be laid correctly.

12. WHY DO SOME BRICKS HAVE HOLES?

Bricks with holes are manufactured in this way ensure that they are cooked evenly during the manufacturing process.

13. CAN BRICKS BE RECYCLED?

Yes they can, which in turn contributes to reducing landfill and CO2 emissions.

14. WHAT IS A BASIX?

Designing an energy efficient building , architects and engineers would need to calculate the heat loss and gain of materials used to construct buildings, building materials are important and divided into 3 categories Light, Medium and Dark where light coloured materials absorb less solar and dark coloured materials absorb higher solar.

15. WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS AND WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?

Payment is required prior to products being released for delivery. We accept debit cards/credit cards and electronic funds transfer.

 

16. DO I HAVE TO ALLOW FOR BREAKAGE ALLOWANCE?

Yes, we recommend you add an additional 5% to your order to allow for site breakage and waste.

 

17. DO YOU DELIVER INTERSTATE?

Yes, we deliver Australia wide. If you require a quotation please call or email us.
